Top Knot / Sock Bun

This is my eighteenth day of my 30 Days of Hairstyles

TOP KNOT/SOCK BUN

My hair never cooperates with sock buns so I just do it like this. (If you know how to do a sock bun then you can do that too)

1. first put your hair in a high ponytail on your head.

(you can put it anywhere on your head but I prefer it to be higher)

2. Next twist the hair so you can easily put it in the bun 

3. bring the twisted hair around the front of the ponytail and continue twisting 

4. bring the hair all the way around the ponytail until there is no more hair left to bring around.

5. bring a ponytail holder around the bun to hold it in place

 6. to make the bun tighter against your head secure down with bobby pins.

 (And it looks exactly like a sock bun)
